Das Archiv stellt vorläufig ein Torso dar. Kernakten wie VR- und GV-Protokolle unvollständig. Das Archiv soll nicht nur historische Unterlagen aufbewahren, sondern auch rechtlich oder administrativ relevante Daten und Akten. Von den Sika-Gesellschaften im Ausland werden nur jene Unterlagen im Sika-Archiv aufbewahrt, die entweder im Rahmen von historischen Arbeiten als Sammlung zusammengetragen worden sind oder im Rahmen des Reporting an die Sika AG gelangt sind. Neben Papierunterlagen sind auch Fotos, Negativstreifen, Dias, DVDs mit elektronischem Inhalt enthalten.
